Your pantry should take time to develop. Don't feel like you have to go out and buy all kinds of expensive flours and foods in one day. A lot of these items I developed a taste for and started to incorporate slowly. Once you do start to use them on a regular basis you can buy larger quantities online or even find a friend to split with! Here are some of the items I use on a regular basis:

Cow's milk (the fattiest I can find : whole, 2%....for my husband who will never give this up!)
Farm fresh brown eggs
Grass fed unsalted butter
Cream top yogurt (someday I will make my own)
Cheese (goat, parmesan, feta, aged-cheddar)
Greens (mixed, spinach, swiss chard, kale....)
Fresh and frozen veggies (whatever is seasonal: broccoli, beets, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, peppers, squash, whatever I don't use I freeze for later.)
Fresh and frozen fruit (again, whatever is seasonal: berries, citrus, apples, pears, bananas, pomegranate,cranberries, etc. Again, I freeze what I can for smoothies and desserts)
